About Hannah:

I’ve always loved creating. First by exploring the possibilities, then forming a vision, and finally crafting a beautiful and functional space. Now that I am here at Norwood with quality furnishings and the very best customer service department, I can’t imagine being anywhere else.

What was your inspiration to pursue your furniture/design career?

When I was 12, my parents bought a new house, and allowed us to pick out our own furniture, wall color, and bed linens. I was hooked! That tiny bedroom was my palette, I was able to recreate my visions from little girl pink, to “mod” yellow (it was the 70’s), to a serene green, and finally a contemporary luscious vanilla cream. Each makeover was complete with different artwork and a different feel, but always a great look.

What’s your favorite design tip?

Use color! When going simply neutral, carry it through with artwork and are rugs, when introducing pops of color, continue this through with pillows and accessories. And don’t be afraid.

How would you describe your personal design style?

Eclectic- I’ve always appreciated the beauty in all design elements. It’s wonderful to take clients’ existing pieces and add new to make it all flow into a refreshing new look.

What do you love most about helping people design and furnish their home?

To be able to walk them through the process and make it enjoyable. Listening and understanding my clients’ likes and dislikes, lifestyle and needs, so their home feels comfortable and inviting and reflects their personality.

What’s your favorite project that you’ve worked on here at Norwood?

It was an open concept room. The living, dining, kitchen and breakfast nook were all within eyesight, and the cabinet colors proved to be a challenge. But we worked though the process to make wonderful selections.

Hannah is amazing! She has been working with me for over several years. Huge help after completion of my remodel. She visited my house on numerous occasions to help me figure out size of furniture and make final fabric selections. Has great ideas and a fabulous eye for design. After remodel of kitchen and family room Hannah helped me with furniture selections for living room. Most recently assisted with design and color choices for a bedroom. Norwood Furniture was probably the BEST furniture shopping experience I have ever had and I can see why they have been in business so long! Our experience with Norwood Furniture in Downtown Gilbert was exceptional! Hannah took my call and when we arrived at the store we were greeted by the receptionist who was so pleasant and said yes Hannah is expecting you. We were then introduced to our salesperson Susan who was given the notes from my call with Hannah. Susan then showed us everything based on those notes and made the whole purchase process simple and seamless. We then purchased a dinning room set in addition to the living room furniture because of the wonderful customer service and attention to detail by Susan, Hannah and Robin.
